Cullman & Kravis

The portfolio of renowned New York design firm Cullman & Kravis features page after page of beautifully luxurious rooms, filled to the brim with impressive art and antique collections. These more relaxed rooms, with their sand and sun color palettes, captured my heart most. I just can't stop looking at that first room. All of that sun pouring in those amazing windows, the blue chairs, and the fabric on that tufted chair...I wish I could be sitting at that table right now! Susie Hoffmann

Looking at this funky loft photographed by Audrey Hall, you might think it's located in some chic downtown area. The home belonging to interior designer Susie Hoffmann of Envi Design is actually in Bozeman, Montana of all places. She says the area surrounding the converted 1930s flour mill used to be pretty gritty, but is starting to get hipper. "It's kind of like the Brooklyn of Bozeman". She did an awesome job of fusing a kitchen, dining and living rooms, office and even a guest nook into one relatively small space. Cottage Kitchen Makeover

Sometimes the prettiest kitchens are not the biggest or most expensive! This cute cottage kitchen featured in Better Homes & Gardens used to be drab and cramped. The results of the homeowner's renovation make the space so light and cheery, and much more functional. I love the open shelving, it's such a great way to display all of their pretty dinnerware and accessories. The vintage-style pulley fixtures are super cute too! It's the beautiful breakfast nook that is my favorite feature though...it's just so cozy! See lots more photos and learn their great money-saving tips here!

Palmer Weiss

If there is one showhouse I wish I could have toured, it would be Elle Decor's. As you already know, I was head over heels for the guestroom in the home, but the kitchen and sunny breakfast nook designed by Palmer Weiss are incredibly breathtaking as well. The curtain fabric (Quadrille Palampore Stripe in Multi Blues on Cream) is just so so pretty, and looks amazing with those yellow chairs. The Ann Sacks backsplash is downright droolworthy too! Tracery Interiors

One of my most favorite spaces ever is this Southern Living Idea House that I featured a couple years back. All that orange and aqua...be still my heart! I was excited to discover a few different photos of the home in the portfolio of Tracery Interiors. The beach-side home is so light and airy, the cheery colors and fun patterns are just the icing on the cake. I can imagine this space being perfect for family gatherings. What kids wouldn't enjoy bedtime when they're tucked away in their own private bunk?! Oh how I wish I could spend a summer on the New England coast!! Located in the first Colonial settlement on Martha’s Vineyard, this sunny home photographed by Michael Partenio might appear to have been around for ages. But nope, this lovely is entirely new...except for a tiny part in the front. The architectural firm Brooks & Falotico (remember them from this home we all loved??) and Rosbeck Builders worked with interior designer Julia Doyle to keep the home historically authentic, but also comfortable and fun...this is a vacation home after all! I love the burst of color from unexpected places, like the kitchen counters and glass tile around the fireplace. And the window seat is just the cutest thing ever! Day Four: Dream Home Tour

Did I say this tour was going to take a super fun turn or what?! You can tell Cristi and her designer Lindy Allen of Four Chairs Furniture had a blast decorating the adorable playroom upstairs. Cristi refers to it as the "keiki" room (keiki is how you say kids in Hawaiian) because it has a Hawaii feel to it (surf board shelves, sea turtles, surf pillows, etc). Some of you eagle-eye readers might even recognize the nursery. I actually featured the little guy's room from their old house last year here. Glad to see the gorgeous turquoise crib is still taking center stage!

And the nursery bathroom! Get this...the claw foot tub actually came from the farm Cristi grew up on. Her parents used it out in the pasture to put the salt licks for the cows in. Seriously! Now it's refinished, looks gorgeous, and she will be bathing her children in it! LOVE. IT. The beautiful tile here was all done by Greg's Tile Creations...the touch of yellow is so fun!

There's not a ton of turquoise floating around in it, but I just had to include Cristi's oasis: her office/craft room. The builder Hatfield Homes outdid themselves here! I can't even imagine what a treat it would work from this room, high above the trees with all that light flowing in and the soaring ceiling! Love that black and white wallpaper (Thibaut's Blossom from Natural Resource) mixed with all the fresh greens. The colorful curtain fabric and basket liners are all way too cute!!

But wait...there's more!!! We're moving on downstairs now...you guys have to see this basement. It's a lot different than the main floor, but oh-so-fun!

Cristi and Jeff's basement is ready for a par-tay! I swear I'd give up Diet Coke for that theater room! Jeff wanted the second row of seats to be higher than the first - so you can see the screen if you're sitting in the back. But he also wanted a "stage" that was moveable so if they're having a party down there, they can just move it out of the way. Brilliant! That turquoise pool table is pretty darn brilliant too. As is the retro kitchenette! Seriously, Cristi, do you want me to move in?! I'm such a die-hard fan of Elmira Stove Works...I don't get to see their turquoise appliances nearly enough! Sooo perfect here. They are an excellent fit with the cabinets done by Benjamin Blackwelder. So fun!!!

Phew, that was a lot of photos! Believe it or not, I still have a slew left for tomorrow. The master bedroom and bathroom are straight out of magazine, so be prepared for some major drool! Once again, a HUGE thank you to homeowner Cristi and Jessi Safsten of Hiya Papaya for all these amazing images! And Cristi, thank you for being so generous with all of your sources! We truly appreciate it!
